About me
My full name is Quinty Stelloo. I'm currently 21 years old, and I'm living in The Netherlands. As a little girl, i already loved making drawings and paintings. It all started with drawing my favourite animals; horses and dogs. Along the way I started experimenting. From realistic drawings and paintings, to editing in Microsoft Word. There's almost nothing I haven't tried!
How it started
During the first COVID-19 lockdown i spent my days following online lessons at home for my study. I felt the need to start something creative. I ordered my first leather paints, and customised my 5 years old Nike's. Soon i built my own instagram page, and not a very long time after that, people started asking me to customize their sneakers too! I started with creating floral designs, You can see some of them below.
Combining Art & Motorsport
I've been following Formula 1 since 2018. I went to my First Grand-Prix in Zandvoort, especially to support Max Verstappen and his RedBull Racing team.
I love the excitement you build up towards every single race weekend. And of course, the circumstances; How is the track? How are the weather expectations? And also: Which strategy do they choose?
Personally, I think it's cool that every racing driver has it's own personal style. You can see the different styles coming back in helmets and merchandise. For example; Lando Norris often uses neon yellow in his helmet designs, Lewis Hamilton uses purple, and let's not forget our current Champion: Max Verstappen with his golden details!
After mixing these styles up with my own ideas, I created my very first Formula 1 custom sneaker!
